The 5701 Venue is a unique, nonprofit event space that operates with a purpose—every dollar earned through venue rentals directly supports our Senior Recreation Center. By day, the center serves as a vital hub for local seniors, offering daily classes, social engagement, wellness programs, and a nutritious lunch meal site. By night, The 5701 Venue opens its doors for rentals—weddings, parties, meetings, and events—all to generate revenue that goes right back into the community.
Proceeds help cover essential expenses such as utilities, Meals on Wheels delivery, and the ongoing operation of the senior center. This model ensures that our seniors have a safe, engaging, and supportive place to thrive while giving the community a beautiful space to celebrate life’s moments. When you book with The 5701 Venue, you’re not just renting a space—you’re helping improve the lives of our seniors.
Perfect Spaces, Fun Events
Our State-of-the-art event venue in Gainesville, Fl provides the perfect location for weddings & receptions, meetings, family reunions, baby showers, and more. If you can imagine an event, we can host it. We can accommodate up to 240 guests in our large Banquet Hall, or if you are having a smaller party, our Classroom space is perfect for smaller gatherings.
Event Spaces
The center features state-of-the-art banquet and meeting rooms. The facility also offers one smaller, fully restored conference room for trainings or board retreats for less than 48 people. 5701 also has two class rooms for parties or baby showers for less than 24 people.

Full Catering Kitchen
A true commercial kitchen is much more than just the equipment or personnel found in it. A successful kitchen includes specific components organized in a particular pattern to optimize performance and efficiency.
Audio / Visual
Private events are now complemented with our newly upgraded high performance sound/audio/video systems upgrade. Clients may request in-house A/V equipment through the events office at no additional charge. Our state-of-the-art upgraded system is designed for clients to ensure a user-friendly and seamless experience for their special day.
